Anthony, a longtime Chattanoogan says that his passion for "evenen the playing field in society" is what prompted him to start Kingship Chess Academy.  Having played sports all his life,  Anthony felt like the emphasis on the All Around Person quite often gets lost.  When we as Mentors and Leaders look to give back and help improve communities we often spread ourselves thin attempting to help too many people while overlooking the ones who genuinely want and often times need the help.  

    Chess impacts the entire individual.  It enhances decision making skills, mathematics, strategic thinking, fluid intelligence, and cognitive brain functions.  Too many times in life the future Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers, Architects, and Scientist are forced into physical sports and activities when they are best suited for things that ignited the intellect.  My desire to even the playing field is a big part of what fuels the fire for Kingship Chess Academy.
